What Will the 4Runner TRD PRO Have?

Gotta admit I'm a bit shocked there's so much interest in this TRD Pro line, especially from a forum like this... If Toyota was smart on this special line they'd search build threads on forums like this to get some real world feedback to what their passionate owners really want, BUT alas that won't happen.
So I figure once it's released we'll all badmouth it and not be able to believe the price increase for something we could mod with higher quality components for less money (suspension and cosmetics) off a base model 4runner. The supercharger will never, ever be installed from the factory on any model. (too much money lost as a performance accessory post sale)
When you think about it, this is the same way Harley Davidson operates... same ole crap year after year (all show and no go changes) with minor mid year model changes to increase interest in the slower sale months. Their performance (screaming eagle) catalog is also released with the mid year releases... It's really a corporate copycat, but alas, it's proven to work for Harley so why wouldn't Toyota copy it?...
I guess we'll all see for certain on Feb 6th...

I think there is actually a pretty good chance of an optional TRD supercharger finally making an appearance.
Though less likely I can't kick the idea of the GX V8 coming back as the GX transitions to unibody probably highlander frame...

At least here in Puerto Rico what a sales manager told me is that it will come also in white and in black. Also the Tacoma will come in gray. Only about 20 4R Trd pro will come down here. BTW Im a new owner of a '14 Trail Edition (Also have a 07 FJ and a 01 Land Cruiser)
I think it will be much like the T|X Baja and FJ TT packages for the Tacoma. You'll see wheels, exhaust, remote reservoir shocks, and a little more sinister of a look.
My uncle has the Tacoma T|X Baja. The suspension is really, really well sorted. It drives great on and off road. If you are the type that wants to stick OEM and doesn't mind paying a little more up front, it is a great option. Honestly, if a Baja-esque suspension and some nice little touches here and there is what it turns out to be, that is what I'd opt for if I were buying a new 4Runner. I simply don't have the time or energy to fiddle with aftermarket suspensions or blacking out things with plastidip. I left my SR5 stock except for tires and mud guards for the 4 years I owned it.

The guy from the dealership that originally posted the youtube TRD Pro commercial shot me a text this afternoon...
"Next week Toyota will confirm the details. Release scheduled for the Chicago Auto Show (which we already know). So far I know that it will include a dual catback exhaust, Flared Body, Bilstein nitrogen bypass shocks..."
He also mentioned he heard the supercharger is "on the table." I asked him to clarify if that is specifically for the Tundra or the 4Runner.
"Don't know specifically, but it sounds like those three things will carry across all 3 models [Tundra, 4Runner, Tacoma]"
He'll send me more info when he gets it...

The 5.7L V8 already has an available TRD supercharger, or at least the previous generation did.

If a supercharger is not an option, I will feel lied to and betrayed. If there is not a plug-n-play for all 5th gens, I will most certainly get a little weepy.

I choose options 1 and 2, and like others I suspect the SC will be an option.
That said, given that GM recently announced the return of the Colorado/Canyon, and with a duramax DIESEL option at that, I think its really going to put pressure on Toyota to bring a diesel engine to US in at least the Tacoma, if not the 4runner as well. I would love a diesel 4runner, but you can bet I'll be on the list for one of the first diesel Colorado z71's if Toyota doesnt announce anything before then.

It was me haha. Can't a guy dream. I know it will not happen. My real vote most likely badging and suspension. Hope Toyota proves us wrong and shocks everyone but I doubt it.

You can see a TRD front skid and the grill emblem is different.
