89 with V6. Bought it at 164,000. On 12/31/2006 the speedometer took a crap at 232,000. With a perm check engine light, moderate oil loss/burn, and the rattle from #5 and #6 rods, she's been only a commuter since then.<br>
I estimate I am at around 248,000.

1986 22RE with 305K miles, ORIGINAL engine, auto, stock except for body. 24mph @ highway speeds and summer tires, 15 mph in 4WD in winter.
A little creaky in the front suspension and just replaced a front axle.
but ROUGH AND READY....A GREAT TRUCK!

Wow, can't beleive I'm one of the highest miled. 275k on 89 22re. Original motor and still running strong (knock on wood).

My '90 22re manual had 280000km (175000 miles) before it was written off in a car accident. It was running great and probably good for another 200000km.

My '92 3.slo V6 automatic has 232000km (145000 miles) and it just had the head gasket replaced by toyota under the recall.
