What're you reading? (or, any non-Jeep centric periodic literature out there?)

I haven't spent much time looking around, but so far I'm like 0 for 3 with picking up a monthly rag that isn't Jeep-centric. I don't mind/care, but it would be nice to read about something other than a YJ/TJ/CJ/JK.

I did pick up an issue of 'Crawl' which was not Jeep-centric, but those guys are mostly way over the top 'crawlers. Something to aspire to, certainly, but mine's a daily driver/weekend wheeler and not a dedicated, high-horsepower mud-slinger.

So what's good?

playboy and big 'um's like al bundy used to read...

seriously i just prefer reading articles on the net, get a tablet dude, it's kind of the same thing and it's not awkward to use on the toilet, so its just as good as a magazine really, lol
 
Toyota 4wd Owner maagazine
Overland Journal-$45 a year and only get 5 magazines but well worth it
 
Australian 4WD Action is the best. Makes me want to buy a roof top tent. Also makes me wish we had diesel Toyotas in the US.

Fixed it for ya ;)

I usually read Land Rover Owners Intl i just go to the bookstore and read it there, and Rovers North. I see enough Yota's i dont need any articles bout um.

Yeah, I used to get Rovers North too (used to have a Disco I). Good mag. I've wanted a Defender 90 (or a 110, now that I'm a family man) for years.

I just like reading about other build ups, and considering what else I could do with mine. The other mags I've bought so far are loaded with stories and parts suppliers ... for Jeeps. They all look the same after a while, and don't do me much good ...
 
This is awesome. I immediately got a subscription to Toyota 4wd owners mag after seeing this thread. I didn't know that existed! Good stuff and I can't wait to get my first mag!

My dad wanted a 110, settled on a 90, then he figured they aren't worth the price, sold it and now were looking for series 2a and 3's.

I don't really know any yota mags tho.
 
Great post...Ive never heard of this magazine either. Just ordered a subscription for a year.
 
I get my Yota fix from here! As for mags...I subscribe to....you guessed it.....FIGHT Magazine! lol! Still waiting for newest issue to come in the mail....damn Postal Service!

Yeah, he definitely showed a lot surviving that first round in their last fight. I don't know, there's just something about him that bugs me. I'd like to see Maynard, Florian, Stann and Pham win. Not saying that's who I think will win.
 
Usually reading the 3rd Gen section is pretty time consuming but I am sure the magazine has some nice info and pictures as well.
