What's everyone using for storage boxes in their T4R?

Would you happen to have pics of the modded wolf packs? I am currently shopping my storage boxes.

I don't have pics of mine right now, but these are the boxes. They are awesome. Love them.

Edit: sorry, didn't see the word modded. I will get pics. I did not mod them per se... I took 4 tie down assist loops per box and threaded them through the holes in each corner. Then I gathered all 4 ends of the straps where they met on the side and used a rated quick link to hook them all together. This effectively made strap handles on the sides and provided more points to secure them.

AWESOME! What material did you use to cover it, and how did you secure it down? I am going to redo mine once things cool off more outside.

I just used a black felt material, got it at hobby lobby! Spray adhesive to tack it down, then cut and stapled it around the edges to hide the seams.

I worked something up on the computer at first but remember cutting and measuring on the go. I can get you the solidworks (CAD) file if you want and you can download the free viewer (edrawings) to take measurements. I'd be measuring on the go those if I was you. I wanted a tight fit and there was a little more give in the plastic then I thought once I removed all the foam and placed the original carpet underneath.

Rear tie down straps

Safari Straps 47x47 cargo net. This will extent all the way forward, level with the top of the boxes, all the way to the hatch if I have the rest of that spot filled with gear.

Built this about 4 months ago and absolutely love it for full time storage. It also has a detachable extension to have a full platform to sleep on as well. Works perfect for some of the colder camping trips.

Ended up putting the paddle latches on it to open up after the build and those worked a ton better to keep the drawers shut while driving. Super snug!

These had the old handles on them when I first had them, but just for reference when its opened. And opens almost fully. Only has about 4-5 inches left when its fully extended.

This is what I built. Held in with turn buckles that are loctited

It's about 3 inches deep, almost level with the seats folded down, enough I can't notice laying on it with an air mattress.

I built my own storage solution. There is a cubby right behind the seat that holds jumper cables, air hose and such. Then the lift top box holds all my other stuff. It's modular as well. The box comes out with 4 bolts. The fridge cover comes off the slide out, or the whole thing comes out depending on what I need. Then the platform is bolted down and lifts out as well. Everything goes in or out as needed, I made it modular so I can take any single part out as needed.. The platform sits flush with the folded rear seats or comes out completely to go back to stock in less than 20 minutes. I only have about $250 bucks in the whole thing and $140 of that is the slides for the fridge. I built the slide out of an old bed frame. Welded it together and it works like a charm, I also made a little slide out prep surface that fits my grill if needed or is just perfect to make lunch on without pulling everything out of the back. The entire set up is fairly light. Platform is 54lbs, slide is 21lbs, cubby is 9lbs, box is 22lbs. So 106lbs total if my math is correct. I don't even notice it back there and its rattle free. I just returned from a weekend of wheeling and 200+ miles of washboard dirt roads and it was perfect.

Collapsable Storage Boxes

I picked these Clevermade brand collapsable storage boxes today. The are rugged enough for my uses and they collapse down flat so they can live in my runner. Primary uses will be camping gear, and purchases from Costco/Sam's. However, their biggest value may be preventing random things I'm hauling rolling around in back.

I'm going to try keeping stacked when collapsed and not in use. I'll have to see if they stay put. Even if they don't, they are well built enough I can just lay each one out flat and throw most things I'm hauling right on top of them.

A great value at $11 ea. at Sam's Club.

No issues with rattling so far, but it's only been one day. I did have it on the freeway and stop and go on some hills.

they stack well and i like that the cover is hinged so you don't have to set it somewhere (you can easily remove it if needed)

(if'm i'm solo i just bring 1 and have a small ziplock weathershield clear bin for food if needed. The weathershield bins are good but aren't durable enough to use the big ones)
