I'm interested in this topic because I just started my own "roadside assistance"/first-aid bag. Please share.

This stuff is almost always in my car, either in the rear storage areas, glove box, or my husky tool bag in the back. I hate clutter and try to avoid having my car broken into so there is usually nothing in plain sight.

- Mechanix gloves
- jumper cables
- small first aid kit (mostly ibuprophen, bandaids, antiseptic, gauze, etc)
- some cliff bars
- cheap LED flashlights
- recovery strap/shackle/hitch pin
- screw drivers and monkey wrench
- small metric socket set
- fleece blanket
- old softshell jacket
- spare phone charger
- 2 blocks of wood for jacking up the car/wedging the tire
- united states road atlas
- haines repair manual
- lighter
- small roll of disposable shop towels

If I'm going up through the mountain passes, or on long drives I'll toss in a milk crate containing the following.

- Battery jumper/compressor
- collapsible shovel
- window fluid
- leather work gloves
- fire extinguisher

Tie rods, cv axles, spare UCAs, the tools to change said parts, motor oil, gear oil, full first aide kit, spare cloths and shoes, jumper cables, and things I can't remember

...cause it's a family heirloom!!

I have in my prep box, gloves, small wrench and sockets, jump box/cables, duct tape, para cord, zip ties, cotton balls, fire starter/lighter, pen, multi tool, pad of paper, advil, 1qt oil, 1qt trans fluid, funnel, other items im not remembering and they always are changing depending on the trip im taking.

Where' the toilet paper ? A must for your bug-out.

- hand degreaser & cleaner
- English to Spanish dictionary (ya never know who you need to talk to)
- Dr Bronners
- toothbrush
- Guide to zombie apocalypse

Yup

Mojav

water is my degreaser, or i will put gloves on after im all dirty. Toilet paper is in ther as well as is a toothbrush and tooth paste. Is always in my hiking pack as well.

Tools.. Plus.. Recovery stuff-- Shackles, couple of 50 foot 8000 KG straps, 2 ton come along, jumper cables, ratchet straps, large and small, small coil of rope, hatchet, machete, fix a flat, air compressor, plug kit, roll of paper towels, poncho, mag light, first aid kit with quick clot, tourniquet, and OTC meds, fire starting kit, full towel, couple blocks of wood, bottle jack to suppliment BS scissor style OE jack, small inverter, small pocket radio, trail marking tape(flourescent orange), 50 SPF, deep woods OFF, hand sanitizer, koozies, ENO hammock and hanging straps, bandana, GPS, extra cheap pocketknife...

Note: I am abt to mount my high-lift on the truck so the come-along will be deleted. ...and paper towels work much better than toilet paper, especially when you have swamp ass from doing a trail fix for the last 3 hours. But I forgot I do have some One Wipe Charlies in the glove box for that fresh feeling....
