whats involved in changing rotors on a 94 sr5?

my brother has a 94 4-runner sr5 and wants to change the rotors. now its been awhile since i've done one on my 92 pickup (which i no longer have) but i remember having to take apart the hub and i kinda remember having to buy these little lead cones from toyota. can someone refresh my memory a little bit here as to whats involved in changing rotors? we cant have his 4-runner down for any long period of time since its his only driver. also, are those lead cones reusable? i remember replacing them but i dont remember if i did it by choice or not.

Yes...your 'remembery' is correct. Hub dissambled, bang the hell out of the old rotor to remove it from the tapered hub.
May-az-Wayal (Might as Well) replace seals, replace bearings (re-pack at the very least). PITA job, IMO....
Toyota engineers took a break that day...they let the Mazda rotary engineers fill in for the afternoon.
