Whats it worth?

I have a 97 limited with only 80k miles on it. Garage kept it's whole life and never off road. The undercarriage is still black, no rust anywhere. I'm looking to sell it and want to know what you guys think it is worth. Kelly and NADA price it at $8700. Its white and silver with tan leather. Tires have about 6k on them and maintenance is up to date. I'm in PA. Thanks

Here in Utah something like that would bring close to that $8700 Book you listed... Heck I've seen them listed higher than that with higher miles.

Wish I could buy it, it is my trucks twin, other than I have 205K and plenty of rust!
:dammit:

Hard to say what it's worth. It's worth as much as someone is willing to pay for it. Might fetch a premium in your area if it is indeed rust-free. What's the condition of the interior? You have all the maintenance records?

List it for 8g's and it will sell in a week. List it for $8500, and it might take a month with a negotiation down to 8k.

Hard to say sometimes. Like Hepar said, its worth as much as someones willing to pay for it.

4wd? elocker? Everything work? If yes to these then $8500 would be a good starting price tho' it's an older 3rd gen but the low miles is being a more coveted thing than ever before.

And its still sitting there, right?
They can ask for whatever they want. Again, its only worth as much as someone will pay for it, not ask for it.

Jesman, even with the low miles, maintenance history is still very important on these 3rd Gens. Something's need doing just because of age, regardless of how low the miles are.

That said, I'm in PA also. I sold my '99 with 193K on it for $7500 back in June '11. However, it was ungodly clean (there's a few forum members that can attest to this) and ALL the maintenance was done. I think at $7500 I got every penny it was worth. Assuming yours is just as nice (I have no reason to think otherwise) I would start at $8900 and go from there.

Thanks.

It is 4wd without the e-locker. I'm going to list it on here as soon as i figure out the picture thing. I have it on Craigslist for $8500. A question about the timing belt, should I worry about the years on it or just the mileage? It's a few years old but only has 18k miles on it. Thanks again for the input.

Dont worry about it. If they ask you, you can honestly say that it was done 18k miles ago and not feel guilty. That is a great selling point worth atleast $500. Good luck
