whats on everyones agenda for christmas?

I'm just sitting here doing medevac chase duty for the next week. Husband left outta the sandbox for TN yesterday for his free 2 week vacation. So no christmas with family or hubby, just the crews I'm on duty with.

So I'm wishing everyone happy holidays. I hope its filled with joy, friends and family, good food, and even a few cool gifts under the tree from Santa.

As for me...i work for a power company. I'll be on call keeping the lights on so people can have a nice Christmas. Its raining like crazy so it makes my job very dangerous. Water and electricity don't mix. I understand about spending time on crews as i will be with my crew too! Happy Holidays :)

Most of us are enjoying the Holidays with family because of our soldiers like you protecting our way of life.We couldn't do it without you!!Thank You.

I watched a documentary on the war in Afghanistan last week and it was quite eye opening . You stay safe and I wish you Godspeed.
 
I guess its not all bad. my "christmas present" is while the husband is home the toytec ultimate we ordered for it gets installed, and i might get the front windows tinted.

other list of stuff purchased includes husky mats, and one of those canvasback liners.

The club I four wheel with had a poker tourney last Friday and we donated the pot to Operation Lightsabre 4 Wheel Parts Bravo Program-RH3

Niether I or the BF have much family so we will just cook a big meal and go through about 4 bottles of wine. :)
 
I have the next couple weeks off. I just got my TE a couple weeks ago, so I'm going to start moding it. First project is the Satoshi grill (already have the parts) and blacking out my back emblems.
 
Hope you have a merry christmas also! Looks like us here in TN are going to get a RARE white christmas! We will not be traveling to Jackson hole this year so I get to sit here and just relax, If I get cabin fever I think I will have to go check out the new neighborhood going in near me. There is plenty of room to roam around and a few mountains of dirt I can climb and mess around with. Should be fun. :thumb3:

bp, my husbands family in eastern TN has roughly a foot of snow on the ground from what i heard last. He oughtta have fun heading that way when he gets home.
 
I'm driving to my parents lake house near Gun Barrel City, Texas. lol

I feel blessed that I can spend time with my father, step-mother, and sisters. I lost my real mother 3 years ago, so Christmas time can be especially difficult for me since she and I loved the holidays so much.

To all of you, regardless of your beliefs or convictions:
"Merry Christmas", "Happy Kwanza", "Happy Hannakuah" (remove those that don't apply to you) :)

I went on a small vacation to Flordia the last few days and on Christmas Eve, I will see my brother in-law and exchange gifts. On Christmas day after we open presents, my family we go see my parents for lunch. My Dad is quite ill and has hospice coming to his home, so this should be his last Christmas, which should make it somewhat bittersweet.

We are expecting snow / sleet in Atlanta on Christmas day, so that should be something to watch. I will of course drive on of my 4Runners.
 
I am lead engineer for 2 projects and support engineer for 2 projects while the plant is shut down next week. Normally I'd be off all of next week. Likely working straight through the new year. Doh. At least I'll be able to sneak across the App mountains to see my parents on Saturday and Sunday. Supposedly getting a decent amount of snow, so the drive might be interesting Saturday morning.
 
one mission so far today. hopefully tomorrow will be just as relaxed. We are supposed to receive coins tomorrow for "jobs well done"....so much for sleeping in.
