What's the best cold air intake system for my '08 T4R Sport V6 2WD?

What's the best cold air intake system for my 2008 T4R Sport V6 2WD? I already have a K&N air filter which bumped my gas mileage from an average 20mpg to a new average of 22-24mpg. i do mostly rural highway driving, including some stops and slow-downs for traffic lights, logging trucks, and the occasional cow in the road. According to my 4Runner's trip computer, my average speed on a tank of gas is usually around 35-45mph.

Will the addition of a cold air intake system give me any significant improvements in gas mileage or performance? Also, is it possible to make the hood scoop on my 4Runner functional, or is it destined to just be "decorative"?

Any advice and experience will be greatly appreciated.

They are all pretty decent. I wouldn't say one brand is necessarily much better performance wise. Pretty much pick up the best deal you can find on either a K&N or TRD kit.

imo, there are a few reasons why a performance piece will not give u better mpg,sometimes even lower it, but may give u better throttle response. personally, id go with a dry filter over a wet one. opening up the scoop does not give u a ram air effect & will do nothing but let water in.
