What's Up With This CarFax?

Here is the car: 2012 Toyota 4Runner SR5, $26,495 - Cars.com

So obviously this owner took it in every 5,000 miles. I noticed a couple of things though. There was a lot of tire work done. One tire was repaired, multiple replaced afterward, then two reports of a tire being mounted and balanced. Were they just unlucky or is there some alignment issue? The salesman also said the front brakes were replaced. I assume that just means pads, hopefully. Should I be suspicious of any of this at 30,000 mi?

Other than the 7000, 11000 and 20,0000 mile services the tire stuff is normal. My guess is at 7000 the guy got a flat, at 11000 he realized how god awful the stock tires are and got new ones. Then at 20000 he had a balancing issue with new tires so they rebalanced one, nothing uncommon. Did you look at the Toyota Service History?

So you can't look into full detail with the .pdf but it looks like they were just TPMS sensor issues.

i don't see any reason to be concerned.. if anything.. they took good care of the vehicle.

Adam's got the right idea here since a a particular owner might well have several repairs seeking perfection. Does that mean there was really a problem? Of is that a concern over seeing no work, which could mean you had an owner who didn't take care of things.
