Hey fellas, we have a 95 3vze 2wd in the family that looks mint w/ 172k on it, just wondering what kind of mileage you guys have and if you've had any major problems.
Whats your guys' mileage?

I believe my first 2nd Gen had around 240k when I sold it, after putting about 80k on it myself, and one of my current '95's has about 220k after 1 1/2 years of ownership. Both of them gave great service, through long drives and a lot of offroad exploring. The only one I had a head gasket issue with was the youngest one, with just over 100k...go figure.
We've got about 94k on our old 1990 4runner(4WD, auto). No unexpected issues, except an EFI relay failure. I've rebuilt the following on it:
1)fuel system
2)suspension (mods: urethane bushing kit, sway-a-way torsion bars 25mm, etc.)
3)cooling system(need to still put new factory rad in, stilling in garage)
4)brakes (hoses, master, valve, etc..)
There are a few things I would like to deal with, but next thing is to restore some of the exterior a bit. It almost drives "as new", exceedingly tight.

270-something on the clock, but a p/o drove her several years without a speedo, so I have no idea what it really is.
She feels it, too. I've got a fresh engine and a reliable tranny, but I need to replace the body and steering bushings to tighten things up some. New shocks wouldn't hurt either.

Just bought my 94 4runner a month ago it has 154,000 miles. But it had been sitting for over a year before i got it

Nearly 228k on mine (about 3k by me). I had an exhaust valve (don't remember the exact name off the top of my head) split in half at around 226500, right after I drove it fully loaded halfway across the country. Still have no idea what caused it. No other mechanical issues. My gas mileage has also dropped significantly since that trip - I averaged 15-18 mpg on the drive, and now I top out at about 13, even on the highway. I probably need to check the MAF sensor and the O2 sensors.

That is one of the only things i didn't do myself on my truck. Didn't have the time or equipment, and also wanted a 2 year install warranty with it. Some guy did it for $700 but he did a crappy job. Since he put it in he's re-done my clutch, secondary oil filter, oil pan seal, and now my main seal is leaking. But he fixed all that for FREE, thank god.

87 SR5 with 295k on the chassis. It'll roll 300 this summer.

The bottom end will last for 100s of thousands of miles if nobody messes with it. The problem is with the heads. It's impossible to know how many miles the gaskets and exhaust valves will last. The harder you work the engine, the faster they will fail. Most of the 2nd gen head gaskets I have done had around 85k. They where mostly 4x4 w/ auto trans. Very heavy and the eng. is working hard.

i got 353000 on my 84 truck with a rebulid some time in its life dont know when bought it off a cheap lot and 190 on my 4runner before it spun 2 and 3 rod barrings

94, 3.0 / Auto...216,000. I've put on 20,000 since I bought it, and no major repairs. Was told it had heads done at 100,000, no confirmation / receipts. No smoke, compression check shows no more than 5% variance in all six. No real way to tell if power is up or down (I have nothing to compare to), it's my first V-6 Toyota. Seems to run OK at this point and have had only minor issues since I've owned it (chased a problem for a few weeks with EGR being only part needing replace) and haven't had problems since...so...my plan is to drive it till it explodes...then a 350 Chev transplant will be in order.
