What's your MPG??

I've got the v8 and I just calculated my MPG on average and I'm getting 20.6. My indicator shows me as getting 19.9. I had the same engine in my tundra I sold and I got around 15. What is everyone getting on average??

I know everyone calculates it differently but what I do is I auto fill it until it stops and reset the trip indicator. When I'm low on fuel I go back to the same station and auto fill it again and use that number to figure out my MPG.

Also I hate to beat a dead horse on these threads but I just did a search for "MPG" and I got no results which is weird.

I have a 3" lift and larger tires and I'm getting 16.5 on average. I was getting almost 18 before my lift and tires.
 
I average 18.66 mpg over the last 17 fuel ups (calculated by hand)
2008 V6 SR5 with the Daystar lift and stock tires 265/65/17 (30.7") Michelin LTX MS

Was this different then your mpg prior to lift? I wouldn't think that just the daystar w/o upgraded tires would affect mpg much if any. :lever:
 
Haven't been able to figure mine out exactly because my speedo/odo aren't calibrated for the larger tires yet. Is there an easy way to have this done?

I mean... I guess I could do the extra math, but who wants to do that?
 
With my URD TCAI before my lift&tires I was getting up to 25 hwy. Now with a 3 inch lift and 32s I'm back down around 20. 22 with my daughter in the car cuz I'm driving like a granny
 
2004 SR5 - V8

Before lift - Average 16.25
After lift - Average 13.75

Calculated by phone app.

Lift - Toytec 3"
Tires - 285/70 17 Duratracs

Just for reference, the dash MPG meter consistently shows 19.0.

2006 V6 4wd, no lift on yet, but will have 3inch toytec and bumper soon and keep you updated.

Think time to clean my MAF, throttle body, and spark plugs. . sea foam?
 
holy jesus my car must be one in a million then. Or something is seriously wrong.

13.83 the past 3 months. V8 with 265/70/17
 
Haven't had mine long at all...but so far my hand calculations come up with 16 MPG mixed city/highway driving. My display shows 19.2. It's WAY off.

I would be VERY happy if I could average 17 since it's winter...but apparently that's not going to happen.

I wouldn't think so, but I didn't record it as religiously as I do now. And, since adding the Toyo OC ATII's, its been worse. Especially during winter months. I don't drive it but on the weekends, and mostly short trips (less than 20 miles each way)
