Wheel adapter to fix axle offset after lift

i'm going to be installing spacers/adapters to push out my wheels a little bit.

but i wanted to get thoughts on using a thinner adapter (maybe .25" less or so) to offset the rear axle shift that happens when you lift the rear with no new rear track bar.

thoughts?

I doubt there are any hub centric spacers that thin. I would say no, I'm sure others will say the same

ah. i mean that it would be about .25" or so less than the adapters that i will get for all 3 other wheels. :)

prob going to go with maybe 1.25 or 1.5. so then the 4th spacer will be slightly less than that.

:)

I obsessed about this for a while, bought an adjustable track bar, adjusted it all over the place but never got it perfect. It changed every time I loaded the back full of stuff, put air in the helper bags, looked at it the wrong way. Overall it's really just not a noticeable or constant offset and probably not worth "fixing".

yeh i dont notice it. i heard even if you put a adj track bar in that your driveshaft can hit ur gas tank under flex...?

im just thinking about fixing it since i wanted to push my wheels out a little bit. the "offset" side would stick out more and maybe past the fender more than i would like. might as well "fix" it during the process.

anyone see any reason that it would be a bad idea?

will push you out about an 1" total.

Different size spacers is not the correct way to do it, although I'm sure it would work. The correct way would be an adjustable track bar.
