Wheel bearing bolt size

Replacing front wheel bearing on my 2005 4th gen just needed to know what size bolts and thread pitch is used to bolt the bearing to the 4Runner and what grade is used thanks in advance

not telling you how to go about changing the bearing, but you can buy the whole hub assembly pre-pressed together with new bolts for around $130 or less if you look.

i believe they are hardened M10 x 1.5

You can reuse them, but I see you are in MI so yours may be rusted. For peace of mind, I would get them from the dealer. That way you know they are correct. Way to much can go wrong with the wrong parts there.

I think you can purchase all the componants and press them together yourself for cheaper than 170. If you count the time of press work as money though the price's even out.

it doesnt give the thread size and info you need but that is the factory bolt you can order from village parts toyota. comes with the washer on it. for $1.85 a piece

I bought all the components seperate wheel bearing hub and gaskets minus the bolts for both sides with the idea of unpressing the old ones and reusing the bolts well I did the passenger side and was unsuccessful in pressing them apart with a 20ton press ended up using a torch to cut the hub so I could get the bolts!! Kinda wish I got the assymbly but since I got BOTH sides for $150 I'd give it a try now I'm just trying to get the bolts before hand

Live in michigan but got the 4runner outta Florida 05 sr5 not a spot of rust and wash it 2-3 times a week

for future reference, id always go with [MENTION=100129]nj636[/MENTION] 's hub assembly. start to finish with basic hand tools i had it done in 35 minutes, and its a quality piece

the part # for the bolts: 90119-A0167 and if you want to replace the o-ring: 90301-A0005

hopefully you didn't damage the hub flange while pressing / torching the bearing off.
