Wheel center cap question

Visiting from the 3rd gen forum... I figure this is a better place to ask this question since you all are more likely to deal with 17" wheels!

I picked up a set of GX 470 17" wheels today for a song. They're in good shape, but, obviously, they have Lexus center caps. I wandered through a Toyota dealer lot trying to see if there is a good Toyota match for them - but without pulling center caps off of the Toyota wheels, I wasn't able to confirm. I figure the security guards wouldn't been a fan of me wandering around with a flat head screwdriver!

Anyway, here's a photo of the back of the GX center caps. Do any Toyota 17" 6-lug center caps look like these on the back?

The ones on my stock 2002 Sport wheels mount differently, so I can't simply transfer them over. Damn.

Thanks for the response... Sure does look similar from the back. The connector things are a little wider on the Lexus wheels, but that might still work.

The design of the Lexus wheels is such that almost any center cap will probably look good. One that sticks out a little (not flat like those) would probably be best.

I might be better off just going to a Toyota dealer and trying on caps in their parts department.

I am thinking about having the Lexus wheels refinished in a slightly darker shade - more like Lexus used on the later GX 470s.s

Like you stated, the best thing to do is to go to the dealers parts department and ask them to pull a Toyota Cap from their inventory and physically compare it to the Lexus Cap.
