Wheel Experts - Very Strange Question To Test Your Knowledge

I have a silly situation and my brain does not stop thinking of random ways to save me a couple bucks. So here is my question and back story. If anybody can offer me any sort of opinion I would appreciate it.

I am currently shopping for a 2010+ 4runner Limited. I am looking for a good deal so I am not looking to rush but would like to purchase within the next 6 months or so.

I am currently daily driving a beat down 2002 Mitsubishi Montero Sport Xls. It desperately needs 4 new tires and will not make it until I purchase a new vehicle. I don't want to spend any more money on this thing since it is likely headed to the junk yard after I get the 4runner.

When I do get the 4runner I want to swap the stock 20's to the TRD pro 17's with 265/70/17 all terrain tires. If I were to purchase the rims and tires now is there a way to install them on my montero and run them on it to get me by until I get the 4runner?

I know this is a pretty ridiculous question but does anybody know if this could work?

I can not confirm any of this info but this is what I found:

6 lug 5.5 inch or 139.7mm Medium Offset

sounds like I need a 108mm center bore also.

upon further googling it sounds as though 4runner wheels may not fit because the center bore is 106mm therefore not large enough. That was for the 08 and older 4runners though. I haven't been able to confirm center bore info on the 2010+ 5th gens yet or the TRD Pro Wheels.

It looks like the FJ requires a 108mm center bore (like the montero sport) and I have seen pics with the FJ with the TRD Pro Wheels mounted up. Anybody know if the TRD Pro wheels are different for the 4runner and FJ?
