Has anyone used the ION 171 series Black Baja Wheels size 16x8 on 4th gen 2008 4 Runner?

Depends on the offset and if you have the smaller brakes or not. You running a limited/sport edition or SR5?

Not sure on the offset, it is the SR5 model, so im assuming it has the smaller brakes?

Offset will be fine, probably flush or just out of the fenderwell by a C hair. Cannot comment on 16" clearing the brakes. Make your life easy and go with 17's.

All the limited's and SE's had bigger brakes and SOME of the SR5's did as well, only way to check is the casting mark on the caliper. I cant remember off the top of my head what mark means what, someone else may chime in with that info. I went with 17's and my truck came with 16's, IMO 17's on the size of tire you can normally fit on these trucks looked better anyway.

Not sure on the offset, it is the SR5 model, so im assuming it has the smaller brakes?

If your brakes are too big to clear it, you could always think of down-sizing your calipers, or going spidertrax.

Guess no one has ran these wheels on their 4th gen 4 runner?

Check the casting number/letters on the calipers:

13WG - smaller SR5 standard OEM calipers, 16"+ wheels should clear

13WH - large sport OEM calipers - only 17"+ wheels will clear.

No idea on offset but if it's the same as OEM I would think it should work.
