Hello, I'm look for your help because I know nothing about a 1990 4Runner! I myself own a 4th gen ('07) and am going to sell my stock wheels to a guy with a 1990. the Lug pattern is the same but can you tell me if these wheels will fit his Runner? The wheels being put on the '90 are the SR5 16" X 7.5 - 6X5.5 pic below... thanks!!!!

As far as I know, Toyota's used the same wheel pattern all along, and much of the wheel and hub assembly is the same (I'm using a how-to on fixing 2002 Tacoma parking breaks for my '87 4Runner)... They should fit no problem.

The only problem may be the 4WD hubs on the front.

The 90 uses a 15" wheel instead of 16", but that shouldn't be a problem.

THANKS FOR THE HELP. Yeah the only thing I could think of that may keep them from fitting would be the 4X4 hub up front but I think if the center cap isn't put on it should slide through...?

thanks again. the wheels fit but the center caps didn't fit over the front 4x4 hub. He still bought them. Looked good! So '07 SR5 wheel 265/70/16 fit a 1990 4Runner stock. In case you were wondering I sold all 5 for $475

I thought you were just selling the rim, not rim & tire.
I'm surprised a 265/70 tire fits a 90 w/o rubbing any, or is it lifted? or does it rub?

as far as i know it didn't rub. he had them put on while they took the TPMS off the spare then I left. It wasn't lifted at all. I figured he would call if they didn't work.....
