Both make cool looking rims. Which particular rims are you looking at?

I was looking at the KMC xd122 Enduro. I also saw on this forum someone who had painted their stock rims matte black, i wonder how that would compare to the new rims. The shop here wants 122 per rim plus 15 to mount/balance. i have seen a couple of the pro comps online, im going for the look where there are circle shapes cut out of the rims, not sure what you call it.

Those rims don't look bad and the price to mount and balance them is normal. Which stock rims do you have now? I would try painting them first. It would be much cheaper.

I have the rims in this photo. I am afraid that if they were painted it may end up looking cheap. I know the KMC's are teflon coated which i like, if i could find a similar pro comp to compare against it'd make this easier. Also debating a go rhino 3000 light bar with a couple of hella black magic lights, or just mounting a couple of PIAA's at the bottom part of the bumper and skip the light bar.

Valid points. I'm gonna let someone else chime in though. I don't know too much about those offroading rims.

those pro comps are nice, however im going to go with a matte black finish, and maybe one day repaint the vehicle in matte black as well. ok, maybe not. the shop i went to had tons of magazines, however if you go to a good shop the owner should be able to pull out the magazines of the best companies based on your price range. you just need to do your due diligence and compare against the wholesalers.
