Wheel Locks??

Purchased a 2004 sport edition with factory 6 spoke 17" wheels. I thought I should go ahead and buy some wheel locks from the dealership to help keep the honest people honest.

The dealership sold me some locks that do not appear to be correct but they assured me they are the ones they put on all the vehicles. I was also expecting the cost around $50 and they actually charged me only $18 for the locks.The thread pattern and diameter are correct but the factory lug nuts have large washers with them and the locks have no washers. Looks like to me overtime these locks could damage the wheels.

The question is "Are wheel locks supposed have washers or not?"

Yes. do a search on wheel locks, my dealer sold me Mcgard made wheel locks that were made by Mcgard for Toyota. I put the toyota part number on that thread. Good luck.

The part number on the locks the dealer gave me is 00016-99100.

Like I said the locks do not have the washers on them. Do the locks you purchased have the washers? Thanks
