On tonight's wheel of fortune, one of the prizes was a silver SR5 4runner. I wondering was that car donation by Toyota? If so, why only the base SR5? Just wondering.

When I was flipping through the channels, I saw the same thing. It looked like a 2005 model too because it had the chrome grill. I wonder if the person who wins it will join this board? I would say it is donated because they give credit to a Toyota dealer at the end of the show.

it's pretty rare to see imported cars given away in game shows. I watch the "price is right", and always think to myself that if I won one of those cars I'd trade it in for a Toyota.

So funny you mentioned The Price Is Right cars. Those things are the most basic stripped down cars. It would take you winning 4 of them to trade them in for the down payment on the 4Runner. I actually had a nightmare once that I won one of those cars...1989 Ford Escort. And the government made me keep it and get rid of my 4Runner. AAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!
