Wheel question

I picked up a 2001 Sport recently and am getting ready to start my upgrades, etc... While reading about the Tundra brake upgrade I was not sure if my wheels would clear. I could not find my wheels listed, unless the wheels on my truck are actually Tundra wheels?

Not sure if they are tundra wheels or not.

I have the same ones on my 4runner and i got them off a 1st gen tacoma.

My truck is a 4cyl so i upgraded to the 12.6" Front disks (EBC Green stuff) and they fit no problem, but im not sure if your truck came with the 12.6's

even if they dont fit a .5" wheel spacer will make em' fit.

Yes, those are Tundra/Sequoia wheels. Not sure if they'll clear though. They are 16's right? Perhaps there is a member close that has done the upgrade that you could swap wheels with to see if they do fit.

Yep - they are 16's. A bit strange as I purchased the truck from the original owners, older couple that I am pretty sure would not have swapped wheels. No accidents and I have a 2" thick pile of dealer maintenance records that go back to its first oil change.

Wonder how it ended up with those wheels on it?

I will find out on the brake clearance tomorrow as all the parts just got dropped of at the front door.

Thanks Monty for confirming. I saw that but was unsure if there may have been some other wheels that possibly made it on the T4Rs.

Still a little dumb-founded how these ended up on this truck unless the dealership put them on it for some reason.

Maybe grandma hit a curb and messed up an original so they just bought a set of take offs cheap.

I guess that is very possible. I actually prefer the original 16" wheels better than these ones but not so much that I would spend money replacing them. I may just PC them a slightly darker color.
