Wheel spacer question after lift?

I was running Spidertrax wheel spacers with my stock limited tire size (265/60-18), but after replacing my tires with a new set of Duratracs, they rubbed pretty bad. So I took them off after 50 miles. The plan is to install a set of FJ coils that I just purchased with a set of 5100's at the 3rd notch (1.75 setting). Hopefully she will sit level since I have the V8. Does the lift help out with the rubbing if I install the spacers again? Or is it your experience that if they rub at stock height, they will rub lifted also. If you guys think they will rub, the spacers will be for sale if anyone is interested.

The lift should help with the rubbing. I was barely getting any rub in the front with 255/75/17 duratracs with the lift, but then I installed 1.25" spacers because I was rubbing my remote reservoirs in the back and now I'm hitting the bumper (I think, still haven't quite tracked it down)

How do you like the tires? Looking at that tire and size when needed next. Got a picture?

Absolutely love the Duratracs. Had them in feet of snow last month and they performed fantastic. Stock limited size. Didn't want to go to a larger size, she is thirsty already.

I love them, they've been great in just about everything I've thrown at them including snow and ice.

edit: also somewhat not off topic, you can see where the tires stick out to with the 1.25" spacer.

I currently have Falken Rocky Mountains (Wildpeak) and love them, Super quiet and decent traction on everything I've had it in. PNW, so haven't really gotten to try in snow but good in all other pavement conditions. Wish they were offered in 255/75

Yep, that's exactly where I'm hitting I'm sure. I need to buy a new cutoff wheel for the dremel and get hacking.

They have a very noticeable hum, but otherwise they aren't loud enough to bother me.

I have the same set up with billies set 1.75 and fj coils. I upgraded my tires to 265/70/17 dynapro AT and got some rubbing with spidertraxx when reversing at full lock but not enough to bother me. It rubs on my mud flaps. I've yet to take front mud flaps off. I'm hoping that will solve it.

you will rub with or without a lift if no work is done to stop it. the simple way to trim is to take a dremel with a fine grit sanding wheel and melt away the plastic. it makes for a smooth edge and you can make it look as if it was stock. it will look better if you dont have and sharp edges
