Wheel spacers.... what do you got?

I was told that wheel spacers cause the steering wheel to shake above 45mph. Is this fact true or false?

Does anyone have an idea of what rubbing I would experience on a TRDP with Toytec BAJA 1" front spacers and 275/70/17 tires?

Thanks in advance!

Left no spacer and right 2".

How's that 2" spacer working for you? Planning on pulling the trigger on a set of 2" spacers myself. Love the truck btw! Friends send me screenies of your rig from IG! Pitorican killed it on the tire carrier too!

bloodninja what kind of shop did you get the body mount chop done at?

Thanks
Hey man, I ended up selling the spacers and wheels in favor of new wheels with different offset.
I'm running SCS F5 wheels now.

I had Main Line Overland in West Chester, PA do all of the work. They're a full service customization/fabrication shop. They also just opened a location in New England.

I have very 1.25 spider Trax on the 2016 TEP and I run 1.5 with 16X10 inch wheels on the FJ. I thoroughly expect a wheel to come flying off the FJ any day now but I've got 90K on it with no issues yet. Not even a brake change.
The T4R is stock but I stuffed 275s on it so it did rub pretty bad. I cut the front bumper and moved the fender liners to help with rubbing but I still get a tad a full lock in reverse
One of the biggest issues I had was getting Costco to mount the tires . Every time I go there they have a different policy on tire mounting. They currently will not touch it if it has spacers which makes no sense to me .
