Has anybody had any issues installing the wheelers front brake lines before? I don’t have pics, I had brake fluid all over my hands and everything else when I had it apart.
Basically, I can’t get the stock male threaded ends to thread correctly onto the wheelers front brake lines. Both sides are the same.
When I compared the wheelers line to my stock line, the hard flared end inside the fitting is longer, and squared off on the wheelers line. It sticks out further inside the fitting.
The result is I only get half the threads of the male fitting into the wheelers fitting. Can’t torque it down or the threads start stripping. And it won’t seal at all.
Has anybody dealt with this before? I originally purchased the rear extended lines to install with my long travel dobinsons rear shocks. Just added the front lines as well because I figured I might as well upgrade all 4 corners at the same time.
I haven’t tried installing the rears yet, I’m skeptical of the quality of these parts and really don’t want to have to put the stock parts back together and bleed everything again if I have the same time experience on the rears.
Not really sure where to go next with this. Very frustrated though.
