Wheels will be delivered Monday!!!

Got confirmation from UPS that my new Stealth 6 wheels will be delivered on Monday! :dancin:

Got the matte gunmetal/machined finish and will be wrapping them in 265/70R17 BFG KO2's. Hoping I won't have any problems with rubbing due to the offset of the wheels.


Size: 17 x 8.5
Bolt Pattern: 6 x 5.5
Hubcentric: Yes
Backspacing: 4.30”
Offset: -10mm

I also have a TRD PRO Suspension kit on order so I'm hoping that will eliminate any possible rubbing issues.

Expect some rub. I'm running the same wheels and 265's and still have some in reverse even after the lift with aftermarket UCA's and caster dialed up, not too bad though. You'll love the look of the wheels I'm sure.

I get rubbing with that exact same wheel and tire combo. The TRD Pro suspension provides no lift so that won't change anything.

I thought the TRD PRO Suspension is supposed to lift the front of the truck by 1 inch to 1.5 inches to get it close to level. Going to have to see how bad it rubs and what can be done about it. I'm guessing it's the offset of the rims that's causing the problem as a 265/70R17 should fit with no rubbing.

The profile is a little different on an AT, but yeah it's mostly the offset. The rub is only on plastic, flaps and fender liner. Easy to fix.

The prototype TRD Pro suspension provided a 1" leveling lift up front. I think with the production model they changed it and there was zero lift at all.

Well if this is true I'm going to be seriously pissed off. All the advertisements I've seen for the kit state an increased front height of 1 to 1.5 inches. :wtf:

I'm pretty sure that was the case. Perhaps someone who knows the exact answer can chime in. Front what I understand, the prototype had about 1.5" lift up front and there were more perches on the suspension. With the production model they took away a perch or two so you're sitting lower. How much lift you are exactly getting (if any), who knows? I think the disappointing thing was that those with the TRDP were actually adding a 1" top load spacer to give it the extra lift they wanted. So in your case, if you're adding a suspension afterwards you might as well get one with an adjustable coilover or one with more perch settings. Just my 2cents.

OP is correct. Lifted slightly in the front. Hence why they trim a bit at port to alieviate any potential rubbing.

The suspension as installed on the Pros gives around a inch of lift on the front. The tire rub comes from the wheel offset, not from the lift or lack thereof.

Cool, thanks for the confirmation. Now I just have to see how much it will rub and what can be done about it. Hopefully it's an easy fix.

Can some one post pics of how bad it rubs? Trying to get a visual on where the tire will hit and what needs to be done.
