Wheels without TPMS?

Anybody run wheels without the TPMS system? I really don't want to pay for a second set of sensors for my snow tires.

I know it is way too early to think about snow, but I plan really far ahead! :thanks:

Yup, that's what I did. Snow tires on steel wheels. The TPMS light comes on after a short while, so I just ignore it.

My oem wheels (w/sensors) sat in my garage, which resets the light every time I park. No biggie.

Are all the sensors interchangeable for the toyotas? I am thinking of putting a set in my MT set. I really don't want lights on in my brand new truck. If anyone has the part number for the 5th gen ones that would help.

I found the toyota part number for the stock sensors. 42607-33021
