When/has my timing belt & water pump been changed?

I just purchased my first T4R. It's a very clean 2000 Limited with 182,000 miles on the clock. I have learned that the timing belt service is VERY important. I don't see any service stickers or any other indication that this service has ever been completed. Any ideas on how I might be able to find out? It's such a costly & time consuming job that I really don't want to go to the trouble of doing it if it's not necessary.

If there's no sticker with a belt change date if probably hasn't been changed. Did you look at the Toyota Owner's Site to see if there's any info there?

I have not. I was not aware of a "Toyota owners site". Sorry, I'm a first time Toyota owner

Register and you'll see what any Toyota dealer maintenance has been done. This only helps if the PO used a dealership for work.

My independent dealer reports maintenance to wherever. Oil changes and timing belt change show up on Car Fax for my 2000. They don't show up in the Toyota Owner's site. At 187k the truck is due for a second belt change so plan on it and a radiator change.
