When it rains it pours....need some advice.

So we are having a wonderful spring ish storm here. It's pouring down rain, and as I went to pull out of my driveway. Mind you I was backed in so the nose was canted more down. Anyways, as I went to pull out a good bit of water came pouring out of the headliner. Poured out the front a little onto the passenger side airbag, then out the back onto the passenger seat, and just a little poured out the passenger side on the rear back seat. So I'm at a loss, if someone can tell me how to get rid of this water, or how to fix it so this won't happen again.

Sounds like you don't have much choice but to pull the headliner and investigate/clean. My guess would be holes in your roof from your rack/rails need to be sealed. Could also be clogged sunroof drains.

No replacement neceesary, just blow out the drains with compressed air. There are drainholes on each corner of the sunroof tray. Just look. You'll see the fronts fairly easily.

If the drain holes are plugged up, the water will come in. Roll your roof open and use something like weed eater line and run down the tubes, or gently use compressed air. 2 in front and 2 in back.

Weed eater line is what I used on my Mercedes. Worked well.

Anything that has a little integrity to it that won't tear the drains.

Weed eater line as suggested, maybe a sturdy zip tie even. Don't have a sunroof to help further, but it shouldn't be hard to replace the compressed air.

My sis has a 2014 SR5. A kid hauler with a little attitude as she calls it.

It is probably just the two front ones that are blocked. Also a small wire coat hanger can help. Open the sunroof and take a look.

Best money is on the sunroof drains being plugged.

You don't happen to have an external XM radio antenna with the wire running in the windshield rubber channel do you? My '97 had one and I chased a water leak for a while, after eliminating the sunroof drain channels. The windshield gasket had cracked and was no longer doing its job. Ended up removing the magnetic antenna and using some black silicone sealer to button things up.

I once slept in my truck while it was raining, just had gotten the truck, and then I noticed that it was raining on me... inside.

Long story short, it was the screws that hold the roof rack (the kind of OEM roof rack dummy, since I do not have a roof rack).

The screws are coated in a sealer, that with age became brittle, and didn't seal anymore.

Took out all the screws, cleaned everything well, and put them back on again with outside-rated silicon. No leak since.

So I would take a look at those screws over there.

+1 on the weed eater line, I think about three feet will work. Our sunroofs are designed to not be water tight, they are designed to leak therefore the side rails have the drain holes, not positive about the rear but I know there are two up front and they exit down by the rear of the front fender by where the mudflaps mount up. Find dry ground and poor water down them see if you leak water at said locations.

sometimes your have to change out that clamp that holds the tube to the sunroof drain with a wormlike clamp for extra clamp pressure

So you guys were right, got all worked up for nada. The two front drain holes were plugged. [MENTION=76419]Doc2012[/MENTION] thanks for sending me that video, at least that's worked out now. I'm going to still run the weed eater line all the way down through it and make sure there are no more blockages. Still trying to figure out how to get at the back holes. I will figure that out a bit later though.
