When should I replace diff oil?

Just did mine today.Truck has 60k miles on it and fluid was really clean coming out.Went with Royal Purple Synchromax for transfer case and the RP 75w90 for diffs.

Every 60-100K or 6-10years is advisable. 75W-85 Red Line Synthetic for OEM recommended weight. I tried 75W-90 Amsoil and wasn't happy with the way it ran.

Im a huge Redline fan for their oil for motors. That said even using their compatibility guide I had issues in a honda transmission using their product. Anecdotal maybe.. I still use their motor oil.

I'd stick with Toyota WS for our transmissions. I even use Toyota oil for oil changes but mainly because I get it for cheap.

Toyota dealership sold me 75W90 Mobil 1 for front/rear diff and transfer case. did them at 132,000 KM's (81k miles) and now i'm around 165,000 KM's (102k miles) and have been extremely happy with it No whining, banging noises etc.
