Seatcovers could mean that you are not going to take off the cloth
interiors, while upholstery/interior may need professional installation.

I had my full interior done in the katzkin. It was black with gray inserts. It was a VERY nice piece that people commented on often when they got in. Unfortunately I don't have good picture and the only one I could find was right before they hauled it off after the wreck...

Did you have the katzkins put in by a 3rd party or at a dealer ? What was the process like ?
I had a buyer/broker searching for a 4Runner for me. When he found this one, he said the only thing missing from my list was leather and he could have the katzkins installed (front, rear, door cards, etc) for $1100. I had it done before I bought and picked up the vehicle. It comes with a 7 year warranty against ripping, etc.
The front and rear seats were both 2-tone. Honestly, it looks better than the factory leather on the Limited we picked up.

EBay has some exactly like the oem leather seats (so they say), here is a link for a Black Set. They also have them in tan and grey. Decent price too.

My dad is hopefully buying me a set of leather seats for christmas. He said that he called the toyota dealer and asked where they get their non dealer installed leather seats put in. He got a # of an upholsterer and said that they could do everything including door inserts in one day for $1000.
On another note - Contrary to common belief, unless your 4runner was a limited model, it most likely came from the dealer without leather and the leather was installed by a third party.

I got my seatcover from ebay, but my friend has crazy ebay experience about the "60/40" rear covers configuration.
My configuration is 40 in the driver's side rear and 60 in the passenger's side rear. Now if I base it driver side to passenger side order, my rear seat config is 40,60 maybe typed 40/60.
My friend got the 60 in the rear driver side, and 40 in the rear passenger side. The ebay dealer reason out that he clearly listed it as "60/40", not 40/60and its what you received, in good condition, brand new, original leather, and why are you complaining??:ybrick:

Classic Soft Trim, read that a lot of members here gotten their leather interior from CST and the leather is as nice, if not nicer than the Limiteds. IIRC, quite a few dealers use CST for their aftermarket leather installs too.

Did the leather install myself. Not to difficult to do once you get the hang of it and I saved a LOT by doing it myself. Just take your time and have a box of band-aids handy.

this is like shot in the dark, but m hving this excat 60/40 issue with my 60 being behind the drivers set[3rd row 4runner config], i bought clzzios, but the 60 is behind the front pssengers seat!!...so now am looking for pvc/pleather/leather that hs the correct 60/40 config for 3rd row 4runners.........any tips would be aappreciaated.
