Where can i find fog light on/off switchs?

You can get the OEM switches from a dealer. A search on the forum might turn up the part number for the switch you want. I think you have to be careful about the amount of current you put through the switch, as the OEM switch is probably designed to turn a relay on and off. I don't know if you can put an OEM switch between the battery and the lights. I'm sure someone who has done this will have more insight.

The photo above shows the FJ Cruiser Auxiliary Light switch and here are the Toyota Part Numbers.

Pinouts:
Pin 1 (Red w/ Blue) : Illumination Power for "Lights On" indicator light
Pin 2 (Black): Ground for Illumination circuit

Yeah I just looked there and they don't sell them anymore. Where could i find them now? And how many would i need for 4 KC lights (2 pair).

You have to search under FJ Cruiser, they're not listed for the 4runner

I have one for each pair of my front lights and one for my reverse, but I recently changed it to one switch for both fronts and I will use the other switch for some roof lighting. You can use 1 switch or 4 depending on how many lights you want to come on with each switch. I found that I never turned on just one set of lights so I just wired all four front lights to 1 switch.

It's about the same either way really, just a couple of extra feet of wire and different interior panels removed. Both locations have a place to tap into the illumination. I think it's easier to use the buttons on the console because I usually keep my right arm on the arm rest. I also didn't have enough spaces on the dash for 3 switches.

Yeah, just push them out from the back. there is a little claw on the top and bottom that you can squeeze to make it a little easier. When you get the FJ switch, you will see how it works. You can see the tabs in this picture. Both switches have tabs at the top and bottom that hold it in & the blank panel is the same way.

if you have a 4-pin fog light switch then it's probably a tacoma switch. if so, they you'll need the following:
(1) Connector Housing - #90980-11090
(4) Wires for Connector - #82998-12340

Well I ordered all this and found that the green indicator stays on regardless of switch position. Could it be a bad part or am I missing something?

That doesn't sound right. Is pin #1 connected to the same line as pin #3? Pin #1 and pin #4 can be connected together to send the 12V signal to the indicator light.

Yup, I went through all of this. I figure the switch is faulty. It is going back today for a replacement.
