Where did you mount your aftermarket alarm LED?

well this mod is finally done i think, i might swap back the regulare bulbs on the lcd since its kinda dim with the amber led, its neo4 size.

that is sick!! so to get each individual button to light up u have to solder some led's?? but the little arrow when u click on a selection is a bulb???
 
every corner point is a led, its not so hard at all, just take the old one out and then match up the new one and see if it work.

let me tell u it is bad ass!!! ha too bad u cant see it. i cant see a lot of pics either:( just imagine all the climate control buttons blue and the rear window button blue along with the mode and reset buttons
 
Ok, so what I need to know is how many you ordered total, and which ones. Im confused on which one is which and where they go. Can I directly just switch the bulbs or does each one have to be soldered?
 
im thinking a few can just be switched but a few have to be soldered. im not sure though the ones i ordered are blue and can just be switched. they will light up my clock and gas mileage area. im not sure about the buttons on the climate control though. ask riceandpho

jsut ordered 4 blue door lights and 2 white map lights :). my 4runner is going to look too Fresh. ill have Biznatches everywhere hahaha. blue domes, blue dash, blue head unit, blue doors, white maps, and a bumpin system, along with the outside appearance looking good. also soon ill get some blue LED's for the floor at the driver side feet and the passenger side feet :)
 
I like it on the door sill by the B-pillar, like the 3rd gen Lexus LS (or the pull knob for the door locks on old cars). Alternatively, and extra work, I would also consider the sail panel along the edge close to the window. It would be on the opposite side of windshield of riceandpho's location.
 
Try firefox for the pics, im on my ipod touch and it works fine, also internet explorer. U need about 15 leds in 3mm, order like 25, so if u mess up there is backup. Also they need to be solder and desolder, lots of work but well worth it, dont mind if u send ur climate control to me and ill do it, aslong u provide me with the leds its only about an hour job. But man i need a new solder. U cant see the youtube vid i post with the alarm leds?

it be a pain if u like to remove the door panels all the time like me if it was on the sail panel. I can find other places too, but i like to show my leds since they are unique, dont see much installer do this with the alarm leds beside my uncle, i was thinking about swapping the blue led for my alarm to white.
 
i would send u mine but i live in south carolina ha so ill just live with the orange until i learn how to down the road
