Where did you mount your fridge plug?

Planning the install of my SRB 50qt fridge and am undecided on where I want to locate the plug? I plan to secure the fridge to the right or left side of the sliding tray in my 2013 TE. Leaning towards installing the ARB plug horizontally in the recessed space on the passenger side of the tray.

I mounted my fridge on the passenger side, that way I can stack gear up high on the driver side and can still see out the back when looking over my shoulder, assuming I don't put gear on top of the fridge.

Tons of wiring options depending on how you're rigging power up. I have an aux fuse box in back on the passenger side that I tap into for the fridge.

Drivers side. Leaves passages side oem area free for charging camera stuff.

In hindsight I would probably go passanger side.

Yeah, depends on which side you keep the fridge. I do the driver side because the passenger side 2nd row seat is wider and that's the side we fold down so we have more room for stuff.

There is also some storage there on both sides.

Between those and the driver’s side wheel well you can really cram a decent amount of stuff.

Mine is mounted below the plugs in the rear with some rivets. Can reach the wire in the back with ease if needed in the future.

Mod what, the lid? Just yank it off. You will break the tabs which is why I added Velcro on the inside and a strap on the outside to keep it in place.

Search for the 'Brute Force Method' for more details. As far as I know, Harper7 was the only one who removed all from the cargo area and got to it from underneath.

Those of us who had 4th Gen models missed the OEM storage there.

That is my fridge connection, it is called a powercon connector. It twists and locks. It is used for high voltage musical equipment and amps.

I did the drivers side too and left enough slack to switch to passenger under the secret compartment if I change my mind.
