So its been a few years since I trolled the online wheel & tire websites. I'm looking to try and find a set of wheels I like and get an idea of how much money I need to set aside; so like any member I try to find some websites where I can purchase them.
This is where my frustration begins... EVERY website asks me for my vehicle, which at first is nice, until I try to narrow down what I am looking for...
Yes, it IS a 2004 Toyota 4Runner... now let me filter 17x9" rims with MY offset, my finish, my bolt pattern, ect
I remember last time I played on TireRack.com that I could filter all those parameters out, now I can't do much of anything at all on their website, it just asks me for is my vehicle, yes its a 2004 Toyota 4Runner! EVERY damn wheel website seems to be set-up the same, which is a frustrating because I don't want to shop through 300+ wheels that don't really fit ANY of the parameters I want! What in hell is going on here? Did these websites take a HUGE step backwards in their search engines? Are their bins now labeled 2004 Toyota 4Runner instead of 17x9" wheels?
I can't find ONE damn website that doesn't try and force me to look at a wheel they have "pre-determined" to fit on a STOCK 4Runner, the entire damn reason I want new wheels is because the stock ones are inadequate!
Also who the ^&$@ names their website WheelWorks and Doesn't offer WHEELS on your website!? I mean for &*$#'s sake its in your goddamn name!?
