I'm so embarrassed to even ask this, but neither a search on this site nor a search on Google has turned up what I needed. I want to do a pan drop/fluid change, and I've located the easy stuff - drain plug and overfill plug. But where the hell is the fill plug? I can only locate two plugs on the passenger side of my '08 V6 - one at the tail of the tranny, one closer to the front but it doesn't look right:
The one near the front is this one, but it looks real weird and looks like it goes into a sensor:

If it's the one near the front, what's with the strange 22mm outer lock nut and the weird contraption underneath it? There looks to be a threaded plug with a metal bar sticking out of it. It was finger tight, too, and I can move it clockwise and counterclockwise with just my fingers.
