Hey, before I make the drive, do any of you know if wal-mart or auto zone would have a clay bar? I've got a 1997 that I'm about to make new- using my own kit. I'll post pictures later today if you guys want.

Pep Boys should have the following, in the order I would buy them:
1. Meguiars Smooth Surface Clay kit
2. Clay Magic claybar kit
3. Mothers clay kit
My fav is Zaino Z18 claybar! These kits should come with a bottle of QD to use as lube, and I know the Megs kit comes with a MF towel as well.

Some locations don't have it, so if you see it, snag at least 2.
And be sure to throw it away after (3) usage. As a novice, I was like heck w/ that, I'll keep on using it. However, the clay will never change in size, so don't think that it'll go forever till you have to replace it. Think of it as a huge bubble gum & it collects all contaminants.
So be sure to replace it after (3) usages or it'll scratch your whip.
