I have a 86 4Runner auto that I bought last fall. I was told it had sat up a while and the person I got it from had just rebuilt the motor. He buys the old Toyota trucks and rebuilds them and sells them.
It did not have a belt on the air conditioner so I put one on today to see if it works. I picked up a couple of cans of 134 but I do not see where you would check or hook up to check the pressure. There is 2 screw in ports on top of the AC unit but they do not match my connector end.
The clutch is turning or trying to turn erratic even though the AC is turned off and does not change when I turn it on. I suppose it needs a clutch put in the AC unit to correct this. Anyone tell me what it takes to change one out.
