All our snow melted last week in southern Michigan (it's since returned), so I fired up my '87 for a test drive and within five minutes of leaving the driveway hit a damn deer.
Fortunately, the damage wasn't bad. It wrecked the bumper, valence panel, and bumper end caps, but didn't touch the grille, lights, or damage the body.
However, the bumper brackets are bent, especially the passenger side. I picked up a couple on eBay, but as you can see they're smaller and definitely less burly than the originals.
Anyone have advice on where I can purchase a legit set? I've had good luck with RockAuto, but I can't find bumper brackets on their website. I'm also not having any luck searching by part number. Here's the ones I got on eBay:
