I've been looking for one, preferably a dual if I can get it. I'm partial to a Flowmaster 40 series since I've put them on my Camaros and Mustangs and just really enjoy the sound. Really sounds better on the Mustang, but I really see Borla is the only one to have have anything or Gibson. I'm not really a fan of the Borla but haven't heard the Gibson yet. I want to but a pre made kit so I can take the pipes and have them ceramic coated since I hate rusty pipes. I've done this before with my other cars, then painted them with high temp silver for added protection because the stainless versions we're too expensive and haven't had rust yet and that's been over 3 years now. Anyone know a website or dealer for these?

i bought the gibson system from Burtman Industries/ [MENTION=9]Jason B[/MENTION] on here and love it. mind you, my exhaust was riddled with holes before that upgrade as the 4R sat for 5 years before i got it, so i have no frame of reference for how it should have sounded but it now sounds really good for a V6.
not so loud that you get that obnoxious V6 pang but stays deep and smooth.
The price point it pretty dang tolerable too.
as for the duals i think you'd be going custom at that point and i wouldnt bother unless you do header-back true dual which would also complicate things drastically and cost you a lot more.

What don't you like about the Borla? I've got their cat-back and think it's great. And it looks the same as it did when I put it on several years ago. (no rust) that Borla is the only "fitted" exhaust I've ever bought that actually fit well without modification.

Borla is 304SS which is top quality! Combine that with some Doug Thorley headers and you are good to go
I'm just starting to learn about these exhausts and the videos I've seem of the Borla ones didn't seem all that complimentary. I am open to retraining my brain, I'm just going with what I know from the American muscle side of things, and that may be where my judgement is scewed from. Is there a Borla direct bolt on kit that's cat back?
No cutting except maybe to get the old one off. Like I said, one of the best fits of any system I've ever purchased. All the hangers line up properly and everything. One caveat is that the pipe comes straight out the back instead of the RH side if that makes a difference to you.

The cost. They charge waaay too much for what it is. I have the same muffler from that kit and it was installed & welded in for $160 total.
Except that now I need a bigger exhaust since it's too small for my HP output now lol! Oh well.

I've been running a JBA cat back for a few years and I bought it through advance. It was roughly $325 and it has held up very well and I've paired it with the Tacoma(2.7) mini header setup and magnaflow high flow cat.
how long have you had this? any pictures or report? close to oem sound? I've seen some Amazon exhausts selling as SS but rotting to hell.

Yes it is stainless steel and fits both 3.4 and 2.7
