Where to mount an arb twin compressor?

Well, my compressor arrived this week, and now I need to find a mounting location. I have a 97, so under the hood is out of the question I believe. The two locations I came up with are the rear quarter panel, or under the rear seat where my jack was. How loud are these while running? My search didn't turn up too many twin compressor locations. Any input would be much appreciated. Thanks

From the little bit I have seen during searches, the rear quarter panels are your best option if the engine bay is out.
One pic had it in the little cubby box in the rear quarter panel with a hole cut out of the center for the air plug in. Looked pretty damn good.

Yeap, that's where it's going. Won't fit under the seat like I thought. Pulled all the panel's in the rear, have to get some metal to make a bracket, not much in there to secure it to.

i put mine on top of the wheel well in the trunk. it needs room because it get pretty hot while pumping air. did you win yours on the 4x4 raffle page?

have you hooked ours up yet tho? mine filled my tires from 2psi -40 in 2 min exact. I was impressed!

i also bought an impact, but it really needs a tank. the air flow kinda sucks on it to run an impact without an air tank.

No, need to go get some wire to extend the leads to the battery today. I have a 2 gallon tank I plan on mounting where the stock spare goes. 2 minute a tire is pretty good.

ill get you a picture of mine shortly, i want to put my amazon 2 gal tank on the other side wheel well, my sub keeps things tucked in there pretty well.

I ended up putting a 5 gal tank in the back with a small 2' 3/8" hose from compressor to tank.

It works really well. My compressor factory settings fill the tank up to 160 psi before it shuts off. My 25' hose lets me reach any tire or any other vehicles with ease. The tank is nice and leaves me plenty of trunk space as well. Strapped down by the 2 d ring hooks on the floor.
