Where to put it?

I have an '05 V-8 4X4 sport that came with the Toyota Emergency Kit. Where do most people store this?

When I see this item listed in aftermarket sources they also suggest the purchase of a "D" ring to use to store it. How does this work?

Thanks, Brian

If you have the cargo net on the double decker system you can put it on that or maybe attach it to one of the hooks or rings that are in the trunk area.

If your talking about the first aid kit. Mine has velcro on the back. I stuck in high up behind the right rear seat in the cargo section.

G3 Trout Runner is right---I have mine there too. I am pretty sure I tried every damn place and that is the only place where it actually sticks.

I keep my 1st Aid Kit in the back, in the side cargo area (the place across from the tire jack).
Where the tire jack is located, I have rolled up both of my cargo nets.
I also have placed various tie-down straps in the side cargo area as well as my ac/dc inverter.
It all fits snug as a bug.

The kit was temporarily located in the glove box, but that is now taken by the dvd player, and I located the operators manual on the driver door. I don't keep maps in this location, my wife keeps the map on her side when we are distance driving.
