Where'd everyone go?

It would be great to get you guys to come up this way to do a little off roading. It sounds like you guys are leaning for a different day to meet up anyway. Let me check my calendar but I think 6/17 might work. There is a pretty stock trail called "Paine Hill" in Union, CT, 1/2 hr from my house. We could spend a few hours there without a problem.

Since everyone was flaking out, I decided to go out for a ride with some friends. The morning was misty but the sun peaked out and it turned out to be a beautiful day to ride.

6/17 looks good for me. I'll take a trip up to CT for some light off-roading .

We have a small window we can take leave before our next alert cycle. If that falls in the time frame, I might be able to go to CT. The reason for leave, is the distance.

Okay, I need feedback on where you want to go off roading-

In Ellington, I have a few glorified dirt roads that could probably keep us occupied for about 2-3 hours. Essentially no chance of body damage and minimal scratches.

1/2 hour North of me I have a true "stock off roading trail." Chances of body damage are very low. There is only one real obstacle that poses any chance of damage, but I believe there is a go around if people are nervous. There are several spots with narrow patches of trail, however, so there is definitely the potential for a few minor scratches- all things that would likely come out with detailing the truck.
This place would require a bit of spotting from time to time and potentially a couple knocks against the skid plates, but that is what they are there for.

I will post links to photos of the two places so people can see what I am talking about. Give me some feedback about where people want to go.

Also, I still need to confirm that I can do 6/17, but I believe that I can.

Hey Karl...were you able to take any pics and confirm if you're off? Didn't hear anything so I was wondering if we were still trying to meet this weekend or some other time. By the way, my vote is to stay in Ellington...another 1/2 hour north would make my trip 4 hours each way. 3 1/2 hours i already pushin' it...

Hey Karl...last weekend of the month is no good for me...the weekends this summer are pretty booked up. As of now, I'm free the weekend of 7/15-16, but I may end up having to be out of town on business.
