wheres the stereo/nav fuse?

I think the fuse blew for my stereo/nav but I have no idea where it is... anyone know where I can find it?

The "Radio #2" fuse is in the engine compartment fuse box, top left 20a fuse, right below the big-ass 60A Heater fusable link.

The "Radio #1" fuse is also in the engine compartment fuse box, second column from the right, between "ECU-B" and "DOME". It's also a 20a fuse.

The "Radio #1" fuse powers the standard radio and rear seat audio controller (if equipped). The "Radio #2" fuse appears to power the amp that comes with the upgraded nav/radio unit.

Do you have any display on the radio screen? If so, then I think your "Radio #1" fuse is OK. If not, then that's the one you've blown.

its the oem navigation system. i haven't had a chance to check yet, hopefully it's just the fuse.

so i checked both fuses and they are fine... is there a fuse on the nav unit itself? wonder if i should just take it to the dealer and have them fix it under warranty.

That's what I'd do at this point. There's really nothing between the fuse and the nav unit, except wire and a connector or two. You've got no display or function, but you do have parking-light illumination on the buttons, right? Did anything happen between the time it last worked and the first time you noticed it dead?

Everything else works but the nav unit itself. what happened was the battery died after not driving it for over a week and sitting in hot sunny weather. I tried a neighbor's portable battery jumper but it didn't have enough juice. After being jumped using another car I noticed it wasn't working at all. Good thing I bought the platinum warranty!

Did you check the fuses visually, or electrically?

i removed the two stereo fuses under the hood and checked them visually.

Ok this is weird, somehow it started working again today. I think when I pulled the stereo fuses yesterday it reset the nav and it started working when I started it up today. Maybe theres some kind of electrical safety mechanism? At least others will know what to do if this ever happens to them.
