Which A/C connection is the "low" side fitting?

There's two fill type valve connections (sorta like big bicycle tire valves) on the back of the passenger side fender well. One is closer to the front of the vehicle and one closer to the back of the vehicle (only by a couple inches). Which one of these is the low pressure side fitting for the A/C?

Also, I had the dealership do a recall warranty thing on the A/C about 2 years ago. There's no way they put R12 in it is there?
I thought that stuff was outlawed or sumpin...?

Thanks guys. I called the dealership who did the last work via a recall job on the A/C and its got R12 in it.
I may just have a local a/c shop check it for me:(

what about on an '87? they are right next to eachother so i have no idea. Also, not to hijack thread but is there anything i can do to get my a/c clutch to engage better?
