Which antenna to replace with?

Hi, has anyone replaced their old telescoping antenna with a stubby antenna? I would like to replace my mechanical antenna with something like this:

but they don't make one for my vehicle... a 1998 toyota 4runner limited. Does anyone know if another vehicle has the same mount?

Or has anyone done this upgrade using another aftermarket product?

Clearly I'm not the best person to answer this but, I personally like my antenna to up go and down.

Look up the tacoma whip mod. That should get you the base you need to use these from the site you posted. I'm no expert and I typically only learn by doing so I can't help you with any specifics but only tell you what I think can work.

Part 86300-35090 is the non-motorized antenna assembly WITH the silver antenna which is what I think you need for the correct base.
