Havent done anything to my 4runner in awhile and its starting to look small to me. I want to body lift it to get my 33s to clear fine. Also want some spidertrax spacers (1.25). Whats the best combo for the two. a 1 inch or a 2 inch BL? Feel free to post pictures with your input where i can get an idea on stace. Thanks

I'm partial to no body lift and trimming to clear the tires. But if I had to choose, I would go with 1". Nothing looks cheesier to me than a truck with a visible gap between the frame and the body.

I agree but i dont wanna mess with the fender wells really. Im gonna go with a 1 inch and come up with something to cover the caps like a rubber material

I just purchased 1.5" 4crawler body lift with front bumper brackets and steering spacer. He makes very good body lifts and 1.5" is perfect IMO for trying too clear 35's. Remember you will have to do some hammering and trimming no madder what with that size tire, maybe even lowered rear bump stops to stop them from hitting the wheel well. Good luck!

I'm stock suspension for now 2" 4crawler body lift excellent quality btw and I fit 33's bfg at no cutting or trimming rubs the frame at full lock but not bad

I wouldn't let seeing the gap stop you from installing a BL. There are a lot of options around to cover them up. Very simple to do. On the other hand, any size BL up to 2" is relatively easy to put in but any more than that is a lot more work. As was mentioned before, the 4Crawler site is the best place to start for info and parts on doing BL's on a 3rd gen and Roger has a great reputation too.

You asked for pics and so here's one of mine with a 3'' BL (plus 3'' suspension lift). Not the best angle for it but if you look close you can see the "lift lips" that I made up using some old 1/4'' conveyor belt.
