Which brand of breaks?

It's time to change the brakes on my 4Runner. What brand should I get? I want something inexpensive.

pep boys have a thanksgiving sale on all prostop brake pads. for 9.99 a set..im just wondering if these are good to put on the 4runner? any opinions?

I've personally used brake best from O'reillys with no problems BUT they dust a good bit!

I usually always use Wagner Thermo Quiets. these barely dust :bigok:

Same here, I only run Toyota's, at the dealership I pay like 70 dollars. The one time I didnt use Toyota's they destroyed my rotor in less than a year.

They are 76 at the dealer or 55 online.

I've had really good luck with Akebono ceramic brakes,quiet,long lasting and very minimal break dust buildup even after a few months and best of all they seem to be rotor friendly as I haven't had any issues with rotors warping when using them.

Use nothing but TOYOTA OE rear brake shoes. Others will cause an over tightening issue.

Hey guys can you post the direct link to the toyota oem brake pads? I can't seem to find them anywhere and after doing research I think those are the brakes I want.
