Which custom-fit floor mats to buy?

I'm looking for high quality custom fit rubber floor mats for my new 06 runner. I had some nice "OEM" rubber mats in my 2000 4runner, but they didn't have any in stock at the dealer for my new truck. The problem is that I'm finding it hard to tell which mats are actually nice just by looking at web pages.

Can anyone share some firsthand experiences with specific brands in the fourth gen 4runner?

Weather Tech is nice, almost as good as OEM but cheaper in price.

I have the Husky Liners for the front, back, and cargo. Paid ~190 shipped. They are custom fit. I beleive you can order them in black, grey, or tan. When they get dirty I take them out and hose them off. If you do get them only use soap and water to clean them. If you use a cleaner, they become slick which is kind of annoying.

Also, they have tiny rubber spikes so they wont slide all over the place. Do a Search for floor mats and you will see the other options out there.

I just bought some Weather Tech floor liners.

They're not really rubber, more like a plastic. The fit and color match isn't 100% perfect but it's pretty good. I'd say I'm happy with them for the most part. If they weren't so freaking expensive I'd be a little more vocal about recommending them.

I like the Husky Liners. They give good floor coverage especially in the back seat; they seem to give the rear passengers more covered foot room. I also have had the Extreme mats I think by Nifty or some company like that. (Cabela's also markets these as a house brand.) These look nicer than the Huskies and give good floor coverage up front but are too small in the back seat. They do not go up under the front seats and really limit foot room for rear passengers.
You pay a lot for these kind of floor liners but they are a very good investment. If your adventures ever take you off-road, especially if you have your buddies with you, they will save your carpet. Not everyone kicks the mud off their boots before getting in, and they collect spills from coffee and leaking sippy cups very well too.

I have clear mats with honeycombs that collect the debris and water. They have the little spikes on the bottom as well. They are custom fit, I believe I paid about $80.

I'd go with Husky Liners, even though I haven't gotten my 4R yet. I have them in my Tacoma DoubleCab and they fit great. Think of them more of a molded tray than floor mats. They have about a 2" lip that helps catch water, mud, dirt, etc. from spilling into your carpet. The best part is the 2nd row liners, it covers the entire floor including the center hump and its sides.

I printed off the page with the mats and price and went down to my dealer and asked them to match the price and they did. This is how I buy most of my parts. Try calling around to see if any dealers in your area have them in stock. I really like the Toyota mats and I bought the Xtreme cargo mat they sell at the dealer too. It is nice becuase it has an antiskid surface. However, if I still lived in a snowy climate I would probably have bought the mats that are more like a liner with big sides as they are the only kind that will really hold melting snow. I speak from experience as I have had the weather tech mats and the Husky liners in previous vehicles

I went to www.eworldtoyota.com, and they listed the OEM mats in gray for $88. I printed it out and called to check stock, then drove over and picked them up. They told me they sold for $105 "over the counter", but they were willing to match their own internet price (well, duh!). They wouldn't match the $67 from trdparts, but I wanted to get them now, not later so forked over $88 and I'm happy with the result - I had them in my 2000 for years and loved them.
