Went with the short tube Defiant bar(Which Defiant Light?)

So I'm pretty set on getting a Defiant light bar, But which one looks best?
1.Long tube, 2. Short tube, 3. Pre Runner, or 4. No light bar at all?
I plan on using 2 Piaa 520's and 2 Piaa 510's (already have all the lights)
Can I please add I'm not interested in if you don't like the bar, Or if you like bull bars, Or even a new front bumper. Just trying to get a feel for which one of theses choices is best?
Dont want to start a war, Everybody has an opinion, And I can respect that.
But please just pick one of the 4.
:thanks:

I voted short tube as well, it would help if Defiant took pictures of the light bars on lifted 4Runners instead of that bone stock one, it just looks awkward on a stock 4Runner.

You should offer your 4Runner for pics Gaterose

Good point red...:bigok:

For your consideration -
Defiant Short Tube with PIAA 580 & 510
The 580s are just a tad bigger than the 520s.

I like the short tubes but if it was me i would stick out and start a new crowd and get the pre runner, I've actually be thinking about getting it because i haven't seen too many people with it if not anybody. Do something different stand out a little bit. Just my 2 cents. Good luck

Not to hijack the thread, but I gotta say, man that's a great looking rig!

1.) Was the install easy? Any cutting of anything?
2.) Does it act as a bumper? Where is it mounted to on the truck?
3.) Is it "flexy" or solid if you grab and wiggle it?

Thanx.

You rig is dark so they all will blend in more than on a light color rig.
I think the pre-runner would set your rig off more.

Yeah it was easy, 8 bolts on the frame (uses the same bolts that hold the bumper on), then 8 more hold the sub frame to the bar.

It could act as a bumper to a certain extent, it is definitely strong enough for me (200+ lbs) to stand on and bounce around but I don't know how it would hold up to an accident. No flex at all, you can't wiggle it. Like I said I can stand on it (and have several times to prove it to my friends) and bounce around cycling the suspension without any wiggling.

So I went with the short tube. It was my first choice and most that voted picked the short tube as well.
Like to say it was great buying from Paul he makes a great product!
He also lets you know whats going on with the light bar during the build. He sent me a few emails letting me know it was built then painted great guy! I would recommend this product highly. It was packed very well no issues at all.
Thanks to everybody for their input.
Here some pic's to enjoy.:keyboard:
